Magnum's Lone Star Title

At Resurgence, Magnum Phillips introduced what he called the "Lone Star Championship." This belt is a belt he invented himself, and he named the stipulation that the title can only be defended or change hands by knockout.

So, questions:

1) Do you believe that this belt is or will be sanctioned by PCW?

2) What do you think of the knockout stipulation, and having another belt in general?

3) Who do you see being the person who can knock out Magnum Phillips, if it ever happens?

1) Yes. I think it will be. Itd be a good way to introduce a secon, and pretty original, championship.

2) I like having another belt, and the stip makes it original. Instead of just being a midcard title and normal matches, you know a belt like this will produce some great brawls.

I'm not sure, because it seems to just be Magnum's. If it's officially sanctioned then I'd guess someone else would win it, and it being the "Lone Star Championship" makes me think it's only going to be held by Phillips.

2) What do you think of the knockout stipulation, and having another belt in general?

It's a fitting stipulation and will make for a good moment when someone finally knocks out Magnum, which I think will happen eventually.

3) Who do you see being the person who can knock out Magnum Phillips, if it ever happens?

Omega will feud with him first, but I don't think it'll be him to knock him out. Who would do it...hmmm. Idk.

I'm unsure. I think it'd probably be best if this was just something Magnum carried around with him and those that feud with him could be doing so with the sole intention of shutting him up, knocking him out and taking his own title off him. The fact it's named after him and he birthed it leads me to believe the powers that be wouldn't sanction it. So yeah...I don't think it'll be an official title but I do think it'll be a stip of Magnum's matches and an unofficial accolade for him to brag about.

2) What do you think of the knockout stipulation, and having another belt in general?

I think another title can work - maybe it's a little premature but as a fed we're slowly growing so it's inevitable that we'd see a mid-card title eventually, why not now? I don't like the knockout stipulation for one reason only - not every character has the fighting style to knock folk out and also that stipulation doesn't fit well with many character personalities. There's only a handful of people that I think could participate in those type of matches at the minute (Foster, Omega, Magnum, Hess...etc) which really limits the belt IMO. Another belt yes, the stip not so much.

3) Who do you see being the person who can knock out Magnum Phillips, if it ever happens?

Nobody. Not at the minute, anyway. If he's going to be carrying this title around with him that he's created himself I don't see him dropping it and being knocked out anytime soon. I think it's too early to predict something like that, I've listed a few names earlier of those that I see possessing the ability to knock someone out but none of them (bar Omega) have anything to do with Magnum at the time of typing. Maybe Phillips will KO himself a path to the World Title scene?

No, but I think it'll make for a great placeholder title of sorts in the midcard, until a sanctioned PCW title is introduced (if such a title is introduced).

It's interesting. The knockout stip makes it a little bit different, which is definitely a good thing. It's not something I can remember seeing being done in a Sim fed before either, which PCW has managed to do quite consistently. So far, I can say this place has been awesome because of the innovative stuff being thrown out there, and this is just another example of that.

3) Who do you see being the person who can knock out Magnum Phillips, if it ever happens?

I think Omega will give him a run for his money for sure. Seeing Daz take him down after finishing with Miller would be pretty sweet. The honourable vet vs the smashmouth playground bully has money written all over it as a feud. But that's just my own personal opinion. I'd like to see Magnum run through a few people first though, to really build up the idea.

For the build up to Resurgence, I had a feeling Magnum was going to introduce some form of championship, what with him carrying the SOS belt around. I was a bit shocked when it was announced as the Lone Star championship as that indicates that it's his own personal belt. However, if you took away the Texas link, then I guess it's a good name for a singles belt... Only one person can hold it, the Lone Star.

As already stated, the knockout stipulation doesn't suit every character on the roster, so if it does become an official championship, the. I'd like to see the stipulation change with every title change and the new champion being the person to name that stipulation. We may have a champion who decides the only way to win the belt is by submission, or it can only be won in a ladder match.

As for who the person to defeat Magnus will be... Well, we all saw Johnny Valentino's punch with the brass knuckles at Resurgence, so it'll definitely be him.

1. I think that Burke probably won't sanction the title until Phillips really promotes it and bring lots of attention towards that title, where some of the roster will want it to be sanctioned so they can have the pleasure of officially taking it from Phillips.

2. I like the concept of winning it by KO, which I think should be the only stipulation for it. It could lead to very intense matchups with the roster. Maybe Master can get a shot

3. Person that can maybe knock out Phillips is possibly Orion and Hess but then again Kyle has a KO win under his belt.
