For the very first time in his storied 8-year career, Nick Foster finds himself in a one-on-one match with the greatest prize in our business on the line: the PCW World Heavyweight Championship.
On the Onslaught after Oblivion, a battle-scarred Foster won the 6-man Golden Gauntlet, last eliminating Amos Hess, to officially become the #1 contender for the PCW world title at Resurgence. But the Brit's biggest challenge is yet to come. To achieve his lifelong dream, Foster must defeat the most dangerous individual in Phoenix Championship Wrestling: Kaiser Cavanah. A man who fancies himself the undisputed ruler of PCW. A man who is willing to break any rules and cross any lines to walk away with his championship. A man who fought and defeated "The British Rose" Daz, one of the greatest of all time.
Will Foster's lionhearted spirit and never-say-die attitude be enough to overcome Cavanah and everything he is capable of unleashing? Ever since he showed up on the scene in PCW, Adrian Dale has been calling himself "God's Favorite Wrestler". Unfortunately, two individuals - two Disciples - Theodore Barry and Sean Knight, took particular offense to that claim. The way they see it, only one man in PCW is worthy of the title "God's Favorite Wrestler", and that man: is Amos Hess.
After their match against Hiroshi Sato and Orion Bishop, NRC found themselves on the receiving end of a beatdown by Barry and Knight. Barry proclaimed that God himself had sent them on a mission. And that mission is to take the PCW Tag Team Titles from Neo Runway Chic at Resurgence.

For the first time ever Daz and Spencer Miller will collide on Pay-Per-View, but the events that brought these two intense superstars together were anything but pleasant. The night after Oblivion, Miller brutally attacked Flash. PCW's self-proclaimed "assassin" discarded the carcass of his former associate as carelessly as he discards a piece of trash. Next week, Miller almost crippled Flash's old tag team partner Omega, and his protege Gryphon Richard. But through the execution of these viscous actions, Miller has incurred the wrath... of a Hall-of-Famer. One of the greatest to ever step foot in a wrestling ring: DAZ.
The destruction of Flash might have brought out a side of the British Rose that we've never seen before...

For the second time on Pay-Per-View, two of the most impressive rookies in PCW will square off. But this time Gia DiFiero will not be at ringside. After slapping her boyfriend in the face, Gia proclaimed that she was officially "done." But what does that mean, exactly? We have yet to find out, but so far Gia has not shown up. Make no mistake about it, both Johnny V and Zaid still want her affections, but the answer to the "who's side is Gia on?" question is more unclear than ever.

In one of the most shocking moments in PCW history, Richard Burke announced the signing of the Logans. As soon as Onslaught 8 went off the air, a multitude of questions arose. "What are the Logans doing in PCW?" "Can they be trusted?" "What does this mean for the future of our company?" Next week on Onslaught 9, Andrew Logan addressed the PCW fans and proclaimed that he wants a new beginning for him and his "agent" Alexa. The self-proclaimed Thoroughbred then made an open challenge for any PCW rookie to take him on at Resurgence.
That open challenge was answered by none other than Gryphon Richard, a man who made his pro wrestling debut under the tutelage of his mentor Omega. A man who truly "wants it all, and wants it now". The bold rookie stepped right up to the plate and at Resurgence, he's going to swing for the fence. Will he strike out, or will he establish himself as the "next big thing" in PCW? Gryphon's mentor Omega doesn't seem to trust the Logans at all, giving Andrew a warning that as soon as he steps out of line, Omega will end him.
Is this truly a new beginning for the Logans? Or will they revert to their old ways, the ways that played a huge part in the downfall of the WCSF? The watchful eye of a Buffalo will certainly be observing the action here, but that's no guarantee that the Logans won't try something nefarious. WCSF meets PCW when former World Heavyweight Champion Andrew Logan collides with young Frenchman Gryphon Richard!

In a match created by PCW's self-proclaimed " biggest star" Orion Bishop, six of the company's young guns will do battle in an over-the-top-rope battle royal. Each of them put up $500 of their own money in order to enter; the winner will take the whole pot (currently $3000).
Six potential winners. Six young men looking to impress the PCW audiences and cement themselves as the most impressive newcomer. At Resurgence, 6 men will enter the fray. But only one Phoenix will rise above the ashes.

Amos Hess vs Kid Spartan

Amos Hess is always looking to save more people, but unfortunately for him, not everyone wants to be "saved." Newcomer Kid Spartan turned down Hess's offer for salvation, and in turned incurred the wrath of the destructive Field Plower. Now Spartan finds himself standing in the shadow of the biggest man in PCW, a literally massive challenge so early in his career. Can the newcomer topple Hess and achieve one of the biggest upset wins in PCW history? Or will the dreaded Field Plow spell doom for another heathen?
