I see quite a bit of motivation and excitement here, which I definitely saw declining at WCSF's end.

It's a hard thing to keep up with and succeed with, but a rewarding one. It's fun, stimulates your creativity, and improves your writing skills(Think that isn't a big deal? I work with a guy who has 2 college degrees, and misspells his own name on emails sometimes.).
