WWE.com ran a poll asking fans who should be the next champion, Cesaro won.

Can we all take a moment to reminisce about how fucking badly they butchered Cesaro's push following his big Andre the Giant battle royale win? He was over as a babyface because of how talented he is in the ring and had his giant swing as that one gimmicky tool that can help you stay at that level (see Bryan's yes chant).

Why did they turn him heel? Why have they done their utmost to destroy his career? Why do they reignite hope by pushing him for like 3 week periods before confusing us all by sending him back to the doghouse?

Because he doesn't have that X-factor and he's never grabbed the brass ring.

He didn't just win, he ran away with that poll. I am just convinced that Vince is a bigot against foreigners and he can't see past his own nose.

Kalisto got 4 times more votes than Alberto Del Rio.

This makes me happy.

Surprised WWE didn't try to fudge the numbers or obscure the votes somehow. Actually, I'm surprised Cesaro was even an option.

Cesaro is the Bernie Sanders of WWE.

Ignored by the higher ups when the people clearly want to see him win for the sake of all that is good.

Out of curiosity, who are the 'higher ups' in an election? If the people want Bernie Sanders, they'll get Bernie Sanders. Is there really more to it?

There's a certain amount of buzz and attention that some people get that others don't and that gives certain people an advantage in hype and name recognition that gives them a foot up. Nobody knew who Bernie Sanders was 6 months ago, everyone knew the names like Clinton and Bush.

This is mostly referring to how the media almost purposefully ignores headlines about Sanders (or at least did until very recently) and how other politicians only refer to Hillary during debates and speeches.

The media here is effectively in HIllary's pocket, and the last thing they want is to give coverage to Sanders's tremendous grass roots support.

The higher ups are essentially the corporations that "own" every presidential candidate aside from Sanders who clearly won both democratic debates. The same corporations own the media and present a manipulation of lies and deceit for personal gain.

Like these guys, the Koch brothers:

Very informative and eye opening documentary. I recommend it whole heartedly.

There are definitely some flaws, although I think to take it to the everything tied together out to get us conspiracy level that VaderBomb does isn't quite accurate either and can be just as dangerous.

^ Wait, what the fuck? James asked about the higher ups in the election and I was responding to that.

You don't actually think that I'm comparing the two? It was a joke comparison because Cesaro was being ignored in the polls.

If Sanders can hit someone with an Airplane Spin without the use of his hands then he deserves to be elected.

So how I imagine Vince sitting back and thinking that Cesaro won that poll because he fought Reigns on Raw.

Outside of being an outstanding wrestler, possessing an extremely likable personality, and a huge fan following, what is so good about Cesaro?
