That awkward moment when Hulk Hogan is forced to apply for a job with Lucha Underground.

apparently the tirade was about his daughter's sexual partners, not about The Rock.

Yeah, no mention of the Rock so far. Though apparently there are more tapes out there. I've seen some people saying that there might be more to come on this story. Including Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer people. This story likely isn't over.

Didn't he do this in how own home though? I get why he shouldn't be racist but why can't he run Hulkster's KKK club at his house? :lol

Well it's not like he's in legal trouble for this. It's just that now that it's come out, it's going to hurt his celebrity status significantly. Sucks for Hulk, I guess, that something that happened so long ago and theoretically in private is going to effect him so much. But it's hard to feel too sorry for the racist. Particularly given this isn't the first controversy he's been involved in. The steroid scandal, the comments he made after his son's car crash. It's not like Hogan had great rep before this.

I may be saying something controversial here, but i think the way he's been treated has been completely unfair. Not only was it years ago, but the way WWE have gone to such lengths to distance themselves from a man whom, without him, WWE wouldn't even be here.

Yes he said some things he should't have, but can anyone here honestly say they've never said stuff in the past in your own home that, had it been recorded without your knowledge and consent, and then played to the world, would make you look just as bad?

He messed up and apologized. What do you want, him to kill himself over the guilt and then we can all talk about how great he was? What he did was bad, but how people are treating him now isn't helping.

Why would they think it's The Rock? From the transcript, seems clear it's about her daughter's music friend?

Plus Hogan knows his image is what makes him money. Can't be raking in the dough when you're being called a racist, especially in 2015.

Forbes.com has an article up now stating that Hogan's comments have cost WWE $50 million, due to a drop in stock prices. So it's not hard to see why they're creating a lot of distance between themselves and Hogan right now. Can't really blame them.

I don't like Hulk Hogan. He has never seemed like a genuine person, he's been ate-up by his fame for decades, and he's just an overall asshole money-milking machine in general. OF COURSE he'd be happier if Brooke was shagging a super rich basketball star.

That being said, I find it a little shitty that this is shit he's being held responsible for when it was said in private (sorta) in a private home, presumably his own home. That's the only thing that sucks about it to me. HOWEVER, if the disgusting piece of shit wasn't filming voyeur porn in his own home, no one would have heard this or seen his thermos dick (which honestly ruined his reputation easily harder than this, the WWE should have made this distance decision a long time ago and kept it that way).

So yeah, the privacy thing is a bit shit, but Hogan's a dirtbag anyway so fuck him.

The dude is a racist, there's no need to defend him. Sure he apologized but it likely doesn't change the way that he truly and unjustly feels.

Yeah but a rich old racist bastard isn't a murderer. Sure it's bad but he isn't hurting anyone but himself.

No one is comparing him to a murderer. He's perpetuating hatred which affects a lot of people negatively.

He's not doing shit m8. He said the n word on an 8 year old sex tape. And everyone's calling him a shit-bag (he is) so the message is that if you're a racist, you aren't a good person. So what's he really doing wrong that affects anyone from him and his family?

I don't know man. If someone is racist but doesn't physically hurt anyone or keeps it to themselves, who can say they're bad people? If I found out a friend said he hated n-words or some shit yeah I'd drop him. But that doesn't mean he's scum of the Earth. Just a character trait. A bad one.

Just because you aren't an outwardly good person doesn't immediately make you a bad person, but to perpetuate hatred on any level is not good. In Hogan's case, I find to be tough to sympathize with him.
