Where is Bubba?

So Bubba (Bully) Ray returned to wwe at the royal rumble to a massive pop from the fans but nothing further has been mentioned, hell I don't even remember him being mentioned on the raw after the rumble as a surprise return. Did he sign a legends contact so he only shows up for promotional shit and random one offs or are they waiting for the right story to bring him in?

I was really hoping they'd use him as an upper midcard heel. He showed a lot of promise as Bully Ray, I think he could do some good stuff in WWE.

I never got the feeling that Bubba was back on a long term deal. It was just a nostalgia thing based off where they held the Rumble.

I like Bully a lot, hopefully we'll see him back. It could just have been a nostalgia act, but then Kevin Nash was a nostalgia act in the 2011 Rumble and a few months later he was powerbombing CM Punk at Summerslam. So who knows?

In fairness to the man, he didn't so much "show promise", as "be fantastic".

He'd be a great addition to the WWE roster, even if just for a few years. Is it possible they didn't have anywhere for him pre-Wrestlemania?

Since he not even on the WWE.com site active roster I think it was like a one night only type contract or they signed him longer then that and just never had anything planed out for him

At least there was a good thing that happened at the Rumble. I think Bubba and DDP were the only things I properly enjoyed about the Rumble (the match itself, I mean).
