I usually stop watching Raw some time after Extreme Rules, watch a couple before SummerSlam, then stop again after that. I already know how the WWE cycle works as far as the effort they put in. Plus, 3-hours of Raw is too much.
Permanently? I'm not sure. I stopped watching completely in 2009 after WrestleMania 25 and didn't watch again until after WrestleMania. Unlike nowadays where I keep up with results, the only thing I was aware of was the Punk/Hardy storyline, I had no clue on anything else. I stopped in 2010 after SummerSlam when the Nexus was jobbed out. However, I'm not sure there is anything they could do that would make me stop watching forever. I survived 2007 after all and there have been some terrible years. Even the current product in 2014 is light years better than the crap that happened in '07-'10 ('08 wasn't too bad). Plus NXT is fantastic.
So to answer the question. What would it take for me to stop watching Raw, not much since I already don't really do it now. What would it take for me to stop watching the WWE permanently and not follow with what is going on, eh. I don't know. For all of its faults, wrestling still does a lot of amazing things you won't get from any other form of entertainment. I don't think I will ever stop watching permanently unless it is just short-term (2009). WWE would have to get to the point of no return as far as terribleness.
