The Undertaker diagnosed with severe concussion; at RAW?

WWE.com can confirm that, following last's night historic match with Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker was immediately taken to Ochsner Medical Center. After a CT scan and other medical testing, he was diagnosed with a severe concussion and was kept overnight for further evaluation. He was discharged early Monday afternoon.

Stay with WWE.com for updates on The Phenom's condition.

This would sort of explain why the match at WrestleMania why a good amount worse than anyone really expected. Also, Taj did say to Tim and in the Chatbox that he heard Brock tell Undertaker, "I will go easy on it" (before an F5), or something like that. Would explain why he would want to since Undertaker reportedly suffered the concussion very early in the match.

Really sucks for 'Taker but he needs to hang up the boots. He is injured after every single WrestleMania.

Re: The Undertaker diagnosed with severe concussion; likely absent from RAW

Or maybe not...

WWE's official injury report on The Undertaker is he suffered a "severe concussion" during his match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30 on Sunday.

WWE's website noted that Taker underwent a CT scan and "other medical testing" at Ochsner Medical Center on Sunday night after he was taken away from the Superdome in an ambulance.

Taker was kept overnight at the facility and "discharged early Monday afternoon," according to WWE.

PWTorch specialist Ben Tucker reported from New Orleans that Taker's bus arrived at the Smoothie King Center for Raw, pointing to a post-WM30 angle on Monday's show.

WWE top star John Cena seemed to hint at how WWE plans to handle the Taker Story on Raw, tweeting a few hours before showtime: "#thankyoutakerp.

I don't really think sending The Undertaker out there with thousands of loud screaming fans and such along with asking him to try and cut a promo will be a good idea considering it is a damn bad concussion apparently and it also isn't what the doctors permit. So interested in how they go about it.

Probably explains why he had just so much trouble getting out of the ring as well. I mean selling it to a degree sure, but he knelt down for a long time then tried to get up and was wobbily and couldn't do it the first few attempts.

I'd say this is the end. At his age, to get a severe concussion could be dangerous I'm guessing so even if he wanted to, it might be health precautions that mean it is the end for Taker. Was kinda looking forward to him on RAW but not to be.

I think this may seal up the coffin on Taker. If there was a doubt last night was his last match the severe concussion should push it along.

What point of the match did he hit his head though? Was it outside when Brock did the single leg takedown?

These days, all you have to do is look at Undertaker and he'll get a concussion.

The belly-to-belly suplex could have done him in, depending on how he landed. I don't really remember so I would have to go back and look.

From what I've read, yes it was the single leg.

It's sad because it has been a great career but it will be even sadder if he keeps going longer.
