That ending...

Postby KaiserGlider » Dec 30, '13, 11:15 pm

Was interesting to say the least.

It think it would be really stupid to turn Bryan heel at this point. But he also seems like a pretty good fit in the Wyatt family to me. I'm very interested to see where they go with this from here.

Bryan decided he couldn't overcome them after being beat down thus joined the Wyatt Family.

But it is only temporary. He'll turn back face eventually.

I was thinking and saw a few theories on reddit, this could be what Bryan needs to finally take down the authority. Kane is the inside man, the mole for the Wyatts. "The Devil made me do it". Wyatt Family, Bryan & Kane take down the "machine". It was all a work. The Authority would never see it coming. But something that cool would probably never happen.

That would be absolutely amazing, but I highly doubt the WWE is smart enough to think of that. If it does happen, I would most likely mark out harder than I ever have.

^That would be too cool for WWE.

I would hope that the Wyatts become what's necessary to destroy "The Machine" and it would somewhat make them face, but I would hope that they could keep them not "babyface." It'd be cool to have a group of wrestlers that weren't "bad guys" but weren't corny sops, either. The Wyatts could be the beginning of that, and the Kane angle would be insanely well thought out if true.. but it would fit.

I just don't have faith the WWE would be cool like that.
I see this as more or less they told Bryan IRL "We'll make you a big player but you can't be Cena, so how about being top heel?"

We'll see.

This actually could be happening, is there not rumors going around about a Wyatt family / shield feud in the works for 2014?
Maybe the authority sees what's happening and sicks the shield and randy Orton against the family w/Bryan leading into the downfall of the machine

Very interesting development. I suppose I could see the Wyatts in the face/tween position but I'm not sure what to think about Bryan aligning with them - you'd hope this isn't him becoming heel again because he's the most over face they have in the company. Bryan has had his spirit crushed by the Authority and now he's aligned with a faction that threatens to overthrow the machine perhaps HHH and Steph will regret everything they put Bryan through?

Hmm...bizarre. You hope this is a Bryan plan for him to take down the Authority but doubt it.

If it's a straight heel turn then it's moronic. And I fear it may become so. Much like Punk in 2012, they may have decided that Bryan is overshadowing other faces and that they've pushed him as far as they're willing to as a babyface and are therefore going to turn him heel. Stupid move if that's what they're doing, but that doesn't make it any less likely. They've done this before.

I suppose it gives Cena a new heel to feud with. Sigh.

Yeah and still get out-cheered by the fans for the heel.

From WWE.com, it seems Bryan was kinda pushed and 'forced' into joining rather than an all out confident move to the Wyatts? Maybe it's only a temporary thing, hopefully.

Yeah I'm hoping this is as part of a larger angle rather than just pushing the obvious support for Bryan under the carpet... but I'm going to try and contain my expectations for a few weeks.

I don't know what the plan is with Daniel Bryan.......but I'm hoping that the story is not like the time John Cena was forced into joining the Nexus and just took them down from the inside, the Nexus story fell flat from that point, because Cena made them look like imbeciles............and so I'mn hoping the story isn't along those lines.

Regarding the possibility that Bryan may be turning Heel because he's thrashing Cena as the top face (as far as the fans are concerned)............it wouldn't be that surprising since they did the same with Big Show, Ryback & CM Punk when they were getting big cheers from the crowd.

Am I the only person who doesn't think that Bryan is actually a heel in all of this? I still somehow think that maybe that he will use the Wyatts to bring down the Machine, or maybe Bryan will try and take down the Wyatts from within.

I don't think WWE are that stupid to flip the switch on a Bryan turn while he is one of the popular faces that they have.

^^ Yes they are. Of course they are. People have already pointed out above that they've done it before.

I don't see how the Wyatts would be used to bring down the Authority anyway, they're too much of a heel group. They're also much lower down the food chain than the Authority. He could wind up bring down the Wyatts from within, but that almost feels like a waste anyway given he's so far above them right now. Plus, why not just bring them down from without?

It's hard to see where this is going to go, but I do believe it could wind up with a full heel turn, and regardless of what happens I don't think it's the best thing to be doing with Bryan right now.

A lot of Wyatt's promos have revolved around bringing down the establishment, it's easy to blow off as being vague rambling but it could also be tied to the Authority if they wanted to go that way. There's also the fact that Kane was kidnapped, wasn't seen for weeks, then showed back up and joined the authority. Again it could easily just be WWE dropping that completely but it's nice to think it might be part of a grand plan, works with the old Hell No link now as well.

Not saying any of that's necessarily going to happen, it's just nice to think an interesting story could be in the works.
