Final segment of RAW

Postby AkydefGoldberg » Jan 24, '17, 3:18 pm

In their prime, or in their peak condition in their WWE careers, a Goldberg v Lesnar v Undertaker would have been a sight to behold.

Yet the reaction seems to center on Goldberg banging his head on the door and bleeding thus momentarily blanking out to forget his promo!

Out of the three, Undertaker wins the Rumble for me as I predict Goldberg/Lesnar as one and two will scrap it out early on setting up their Mania match.

Never thought I'd see Undertaker and Goldberg standing in the same ring. Mark-out moment for me. I can't really think of a time when Goldberg vs Taker should have happened because they were both babyfaces almost all the time, but you'd have to think Goldberg would have been a massive threat to The Streak back in the day.

Cool segment overall. Crowd erupted for the Taker appearance. Fading to black as soon as he showed up was underwhelming at first, but none of those guys can look weak right now so it's understandable. Thought Goldberg could have done a better job saving his promo by saying he's so excited about the Rumble match that he busted himself open and forgot his lines, but he did manage to get the fire back when he was calling Lesnar out later.

If Goldberg could have entered WWE a couple months earlier and been there before WrestleMania 19, it would have been cool to see Taker as Big Evil vs Goldberg there. Would have certainly been better than Taker vs Show and A-Train.

Would have been a great match too as both of them are into MMA and being physical.
