I went into this really cynical, I've made it no secret I far and away prefer Obsidian's offering than Bethesda's but this looks really bloody cool. Some quick thoughts.
I can learn to be okay with the voiced protagonist, there definitely are select benefits despite the fact that it steps on the role playing aspect a little.
The base building aspect is interesting to me, I'm really looking forward to getting in there to develop a settlement, bring in merchants and that kind of thing. Don't have much to say about it outside of the fact I think it'll be fun and I want to play it.

The crafting and customization of weapons and armour etc. seems like the kind of thing I'll be right into. Making some sweet as fuck Power Armour and a badass Laser Rifle is something I'll be all over as soon as I'm able.
They've made the conversation system a little more fluid by the looks of it, for a controller at least. I'm not sure the extent to which they'll have characters use your name, it'd be surprising if it appeared more widely than a few key segments.
They've cleaned the UI up a little, made it a bit more stylish, I like the look of the new Pip-Boy as well. Speaking of which, I like the idea of the app. Like Todd said, as stupid gimmicks go this one is pretty fuckin' cool.

I like the dog. Don't kill it pls.
The game was presented very well, now I'm just wanting to get my hands on it. November isn't
too far away, I suppose, especially considering I had expected early next year. I think they've benefited from showing the game in a near finished state rather than announcing it when it's a long while away from release.
