Fifa 14: What you think?

Has anyone bought the new Fifa yet? If so, what do you guys think? I feel it is more realistic than the previous installment. The players move with more realism and its much harder to get past the opposition also. However, I do think its a little less fun to play as a result. Maybe it is just gonna take a little time to get used to it; as Man Utd I was just defeated 3-0 at home by Crystal Palce . Its still a decent game though and I would recommend buying it if you are a fan of the series!

My brother has it, I've played it a little but not to the point where I'm comfortable with it yet. Right now it seems a little more slow and harder to put coherent moves together, but that might be because I'm still used to the faster style of 13.

It's quite tough. The CPU seems a lot more capable at defense and it is harder to get passed players on a run, especially with some of the weaker guys. It really highlights the difference between the high class players and just standard, regular league players.

I like. I don't like buying new players though on Manager Mode. How the hell am I supposed to know if a player is good if I can't see thier overall rating?!?!

Don't you have to spend to scout players to find out more about their skills and eventually you get the overall? Thought I read that in a review.

You only get the overall on the top well known players, which are probably the guys you don't actually need it for because they are well known.

I prefer it to '13 but I agree it's shit that you can't see the overall rating of players. In my Bradford career especially it's annoying if I'm looking at lesser known players.

Yeah, but when you start off as Plymouth Argyle and your scouts are a half star rating and then don't bother scouting half the players they've found it gets a bit frustrating

I just use this list to get an idea of what their overall rating is.

Yeah you do. But all the players are shit and none of them want to sign for me! Not like I have money to sign them.

I am fine with FIFA 13. I have played 131 games in two seasons and a quarter with Man U, and I'm playing 20 minute halves so it takes nearly an hour to play each game.
