At what point will iPods/MP3 players go extinct?

Sooner or later, you've got to think that people will stop producing MP3 players and assume people will be using their phones, right? Currently I'm still using my iPod because it offers me more storage space than my phone does for music, and I have like 40 gigs of music. But if the time comes where the technology allows me to go down to just one device, I'll jump on that.

What do you think?

I have a Creative Zen from back in 2007 but it life is sooner coming to an end since I do listen to roughly 3 hour of music a day. I was never a fan using my phone as an MP3 player since it drains my battery life when I need the use of a phone so I don't mind carrying to devices around.

Just wish more companies made MP3 players since I never will own an Iproduct if my life dependent on it.

I think that while an iPod still can have a purpose and use, it really should start to disappear from the market, all phones come with the ability to play music. I keep an iPod around for the car, but other than that, I believe they will start to fade away soon.
