Re: Hulk Hogan reinstated, apologizes to WWE locker room

It's good to see wrestlers like TND and Titus, using their social media platforms to eloquently explain what happened and their feelings as people who were offended by what Hogan said. Otherwise, it'd be reported in the dirtsheets as ambiguous and I hope the company doesn't in anyway clamp down on t...

Re: My business is almost up and running!

Go for it mate, you've come a long way from your struggles at B&Q and wishing you the best. It's not easy to set-up a business venture at the best of times but I'm sure your passion and hardwork will make it a success. Franchise is a good way to go, be intrigued to know about the support you get...

Re: Hulk Hogan reinstated, apologizes to WWE locker room

The apology being filmed for a Network Special - says it all really about the motivations for bringing him back and for Hogan delivering his apology. It has been a while ago that it happened, surely if Hogan was so sincere in rejecting what he said he would have done - an apology to the locker-room ...

Re: Trump publicly sides with Putin over US intelligence at Helsinki summit

Incredible but not surprising however it's always difficult criticising your own boss in public I guess..

Re: World Cup Discussion Thread

Not sure I'll get used to no football of daily matches..

But not long until the season starts in around three weeks!

It was a fun, enjoyable World Cup without being one of THE best but it's one I'll remember definitely compared to the last few WCs

Re: World Cup Discussion Thread

As much as the journey has been fantastic and enjoyable, to see the newfound connection between the team and fans, on a different day I think many involved in the England set-up will rue the chance of not being able to make it, at least, to a final which would have been a psychological boost going f...

LeBron James joins the LA Lakers

I heard this news recently, but is it a good move for him?

I don't get this free agent business, as it's not the first time he has been one but it's another megabucks deal to join his new side.

Thoughts?

Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid to join Juventus

I honestly thought by this time in the summer, having teased leaving to re-join Manchester United or another club, he would be at a press conference confirming his new deal having got a pay-rise. But it seems his relationship with the club president had finally broken down, and he wasn't going to ge...

Re: British thread

They have no fucking clue. And just remember that Boris Johnson decided the best use of his final moments as Foreign Secretary was to do a photoshoot with him signing his resignation letter, aka like a overhyped, lazy, utter dogshit of a footballer signing a new contract. It's a shame there's no rea...

Re: Brock Lesnar to fight Daniel Cormier for UFC Heavyweight Championship

https://streamja.com/rORN DC won by knockout and called Lesnar to the ring. Shoving ensued. lol DC calls out Lesnar then himself gets shoved, then tells Lesnar to leave. Not sure who should win (Cormier, for his experience?) but Lesnar being UFC and Universal champion would much prestigious for Vin...

Re: World Cup Discussion Thread

Only Belgium, led by big Kaks, could stop England. Seriously if we don't get a Bank Holiday for the 15th then Theresa May is an even more miserable, joyless sod than I ever thought. Odd for a politician not to want to take advantage of sport at a time when they have shown - with the resignation of D...

Re: World Cup Discussion Thread

We should get a Bank Holiday on Monday after the final, we'll need a day of celebration, right? Although as it's Theresa May and she's a killjoy, probably not. But what an ending, seeing Facebook posts from people who've barely shown any interest in football nevermind England, cheering the team on. ...

Re: World Cup Discussion Thread

A major IF is England beating Colombia, who have two very good central defenders and a much improved Falcao and IF James Rodriguez is fit then it's not an easy game as is being made out. Plus there are bare fans in Russia for Colombia

Cracking ties coming up until Tuesday, two games a day.

Re: World Cup Discussion Thread

VAR has added some exciting finishes to the last round of group matches, despite VAR still being a discussion point for and against post-match but this World Cup so far, and with the planned round 16 matches which are tasty, is making this WC one of the best in my lifetime.

Re: British thread

Find it odd why if there's a redundant recycling bin near the front of your house, you'd think "yes, I'll just take it" rather than just putting it to one side for someone to collect it for whom it belongs to. .. I went and got it back anyway. We haven't seen such levels of bin warfare si...
