Re: HBK goes full out HEISENBERG

Did he turn fully heel? It seemed on the write up that I read that he just went nosed up to him?

But it seems HBK probably is coming back on screen for a while but don't see a heel turn as he'll probably go back to face sooner than later and he's retired so seems weird to change his status.

Re: 'St Jude' storm batters the UK

this was very overlooked by the media and overrated. We were all expecting massive winds, but the majority got little gusts (except Devon and London, they got hit pretty bad). The Media "overhyped" this. I'm not sure how they over rated something when people lost their lives and massive a...

Re: Football/Futbol/Soccer thread

Apparently, Arsenal came pretty close to signing Kaka this summer, though he failed his medical due to a dust-induced asthma attack after seeing the trophy room. LOL. I heard that joke but with a different players name in it, always gives a chuckle. On that topic, does anyone else think Arsenal wil...

Re: 'St Jude' storm batters the UK

I was asleep till mid-day and up here in the North (one of the best things) we avoided any major wind damage. The South tend to get a battering but sadly a few people died aswell which is saddening. I think we handled things pretty well; made plans and stuck to them. Wasn't no wide-spread panic.

Re: Football/Futbol/Soccer thread

Joe Hart is one lucky mofo there's no real challenge for his England place. No need for him to come out, Nastasic was doing the right thing and Hart panicked and made himself a fool. Have to say, great to see Torres show some of his old touch, always liked him as a player going back to Atletico and ...

Re: Football/Futbol/Soccer thread

Was out with my mates last night, one of them's a journalism student nearing the end of his course. He's doing pretty well for himself. I asked how things were going, and he said he'd just been given the phone numbers of about 40 different footballing personalities and ex-footballers from an agent ...

Re: Is there anyone else here who hates clubbing?

Never been to a club but never been tempted to really. Just not my scene at all due to religious beliefs and also I just wouldn't feel comfortable. Give me a quieter arena anytime to socialise with friends.

Re: Are you religious?

I'm a Muslim and proud to be without fully practising my faith atm. Practising it comes to different people at different stages I guess.

What book are you reading at the moment?

I'm currently reading Hack by Graham Johnson. He was a former reporter at the News of the World (that got closed down in 2011 due to phone-hacking) and he worked there in the 90s and it's a great read as you get to see how much of the tabloid world then (and maybe now) was down to making absolute sh...

Re: Which would you prefer to be?

Acting. I loved drama at school and regret that I didn't take it forward with any seriouness. I'll always remember my final drama project at school in my last year and my teacher coming over and praising my performance, gave me such a buzz.

Re: What movies can you watch over and over and not get sick

Terminator 2.

That's on my Sky Planner for good. Never know when I need to kill time in front of the box. Pure entertainment.

I'm intrigued, what happens exactly internally when you eat junk-food and don't do exercise, hence gaining weight. Does your metabolism wear off and that begins the weight increase? Why...

Re: What do you think of large family gatherings?

Second, because I'm a fan of video games and movies, they think they can stick the young kids with me, but I can't stand them. I sympathise on this. As a kid, who happened to have a console, if there were some kids who were my age or slightly younger, others would nudge them to me to go upstairs an...

Re: What are some kind things you've done for strangers?

I was walking in town when an old man stopped me, he looked down and asked me to tie his shoelace as he couldn't get down, which I obliged. Probably will never do that again ever. There's only one scenario in which that ended. And I dont wanna say it LOL! Take your mind out of the gutter! I did fea...

Re: Football/Futbol/Soccer thread

Games are played on Wednesdays and Saturdays (maximum of twice a week), real teams and players. You can play World Championships (with te...
