Re: the STATE of WWE

There's always empty seats around the hardcam like that. Pretty sure I've seen it before. They may not even sell some of those seats.

WWE BATTLEGROUND 2017: WWE Championship - Punjabi Prison Match Jinder Mahal (C) vs Randy Orton Winner: Jinder Mahal Comments: I don't think they're giving up on the Mahal experiment yet. Re: The plot thickens

People should never get their hopes up for tag teams. It's been clear for years that Vince doesn't care about tag teams. Look no further than Alpha, Goldust & R Truth, Enzo & Cass, even Heath Slater and Rhyno almost broke up. I could easily see a Hardyz split before too much longer.

Re: The plot thickens

I'm not sure Jordan has the chops to pull off this goofy of a storyline. Or even Angle anymore for that matter.

I'm calling it now though, within a year, Jordan reveals he and his mom made the whole story up to get a push from being Angle's "son".

Re: Alberto El Patron involved in altercation at airport.

Out of the loop historically, but has ADR been arrested, or charged for domestic violence relating to Paige or is second hand stories and information on the internet? A pretty stern defence by Paige but whether it's hiding the real truth... I believe ADR is under investigation for the incident at t...

Re: Mahal/Orton is, BY FAR, the worst WWE Championship feud of all-time

I'd have to think about it but yeah it's terrible. The fact that Jinder is buried in the first hour on Smackdown almost every week and is usually limited to one segment on the show is telling. Even they know it's not going over well. I'd pretty much expect Jinder to lose at Summerslam at the latest ...

Re: Alberto El Patron involved in altercation at airport.

This relationship never seemed like it was going to end well. Fingers crossed it will end quickly now, and without anyone getting hurt. I'd worry for Paige in this situation - Del Rio is clearly unstable and is known for having a violent temper. She's young and in love and that's always going to cl...

Re: The plot thickens

It's going to be something goofy, we know that. It seems to me it's going to be one of two things: 1) He's having/had an affair with a woman. 2) He has/had a love child with someone, who possibly is now a WWE wrestler. Speculation online is it has something to do with Stephanie McMahon or possibly D...

Re: Thoughts on Lesnar/Joe?

I thought it was pretty good. The ending was somewhat abrupt but I thought Joe got a lot of offense, certainly more than most get against Brock. Lesnar was selling his ass off too. He got beat up, almost got choked out a few times.

WWE Universal Championship Brock Lesnar (c) vs Senor Joe Winner: Brock Lesnar Comments: This build has been fantastic and I think there's an argument that could be made that Joe should win this. They will find something for him in the future. That kind of charisma you don't just throw away to the side.

Yeah it was great, proving the criticism of him as one dimensional comedy are bogus.

The Legend wrote:The fact no one mentioned Tajiri is disappointing.

I loved Tajiri, one could argue he had the best WWE run of any Japanese wrestler they brought in. At least up until Nakamura or Asuka now. He was never a big star, but a solid mid carder who was given stuff to do.

Re: Favourite Japanese Wrestlers

Funny Steve, KENTA was the dude that introduced me to Japanese wrestling. Probably 09-ish I want to say, actually might have been before that. I somehow heard about this guy and found some of his matches on youtube, and his matches with Naomichi Marafuji and Kotaro Suzuki in NOAH I found interesting...

Re: Cody Rhodes is ROH World Champion

The guy bet on himself and right now is winning big time. He's made himself into a bigger star than he was and likely has worked his way into more money and a better push if/when he decides to come back to WWE. I'm waiting for that big time match from him though. I've heard some people who aren't th...

Re: How long do Enzo and Cass last on their own

Everyone seems to be writing Enzo off that I see online, but I'm a lot more high on him I guess. The guy has a unique look, a unique voice, he gets to keep the fan chanting along thing which is always over. And as we saw on Raw yesterday, even when he's not cutting goofy, funny promos he can change ...

Re: Beast vs Destroyer

Joe is the most disposable of the five in the #1 Contender match. They don't want Rollins, Finn, Reigns, or Bray getting destroyed right now so Joe's up.

I hope they let him get some good offense in but history would suggest that's not happening.
